Elle med bloggen Inredning-Utredning hade en utmaning att fota det fulaste huset man kunde hitta. Jag kände mig tvungen att skicka några bilder av vårt andra hus som ligger bredvid torpet. Vi tror att huset byggdes förre 1880-talet och användes som snickarbod. Jag vet att det är onekligen fult nu, men tro mig, det har potential som inte syns i bilderna. Jag återkommer med några bilder som visar husets finare egenskaper.
Elle from the blog Inredning-Utredning issued a challenge to photograph the ugliest house you could find. I couldn't help but send in a few photos of the other building on our property. We believe that this house was built before 1880 and has been used as a carpenters workshop. I know that it is undeniably ugly now, but believe me, it has potential that doesn't show up in the following photos. Watch for a follow-up post with pictures that show the house's finer features.
Vår vän Mårten har sagt att huset ser ut som det var ritat av ett barn. Helt rätt tycker jag! Alla fönster är olika storlekar och passar inte in.
Our friend Mårten has said that the house looks like it was drawn by a child. I think he's completely right! All of the windows are different sizes and none of them fit in.
Ett fönster har satts in i en dörr som sedan har täckts av panel. Jag förstår inte varför...
One window has been set in a door, which was then covered with panelling. I don't understand...
Tyvärr är det lika fult inomhus! Överallt finns det isoleringsskum eller "Montage-Schaum" som det står på flaskan vi har hittat.
Unfortunately, it's just as ugly inside! Everywhere you look, you'll find foam sealant.
När vi är på torpet bor vi i rummet på första våningen av detta fula hus. Det finns inget vatten och ingen uppvärmning, men visst är taket mysigt? Folien på takbjälkarna skulle göra att rummet kändes futuristiskt!
We stay in the room on the first floor of this ugly house when we're out at the cottage. There is no water and no heating, but isn't the ceiling charming? The foil was put on the ceiling (by the previous owner) to make the room feel more futuristic!

Tack Gela! Vi fokuserar på torpet och trädgården nu, men vi kan kanske göra någonting kul med det fula huset om 10 år eller så :P
