Trots att vi vill njuta utomhus i det fina vårvädret, har vi tvingat oss att arbeta lite inne i torpet. Torpargrunden är alldeles för grund och marken är täckt med skräp. Dags att ta fram våra skyfflar! I fotot har vi grävt ut cirka två decimeter av den översta jorden. Jag har tappat bort räkningen men runt 20 eller 25 laster med skottkärran har det varit. Jag hoppas att jorden räcker till att fylla alla sorkhål som har dykt upp i år.
Despite us wanting to enjoy the beautiful spring weather, we've forced ourselves to do a little work inside the house. The foundation of the house is much too shallow and the ground is covered in scraps. It's time to take out our shovels! In the above photo, we've dug out about 20 cm of the top layer of soil. I've lost count now, but that's about 20 - 25 wheelbarrow loads. I'm hoping that we'll have enough dirt to fill in all the rodent holes that have appeared in the yard this year.
